Pledge for the Future

Boltin CenterThe Friends of the Thelma Boltin Center are asking for pledges to paid in the future when the building is close to being completely restored, probably in 2025.  We will use the money to pay for period furnishings and drapes, and to create a museum of relevant WII memorabilia, items that belonged to Thelma Boltin, pictures of the soldiers, Thelma Boltin, and pictures of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame musicians.   Money talks and we want the City  Commissioners to know we are serious about helping save the building. Pledges have ranged from $25 to $4000.  Among the items that will be donated to the museum are Thelma Boltin's journals from 1928 and 1932, an autographed album of musicians at the White Springs Folk Festival that is 53 years old, 80 year-old stationery given to the soldiers by the Chamber of Commerce with scenes of Alachua County on it.
Pledges can be made by contacting us.
